Confirmed Images of India bound Chevrolet Niva aka Blazer leaked online
It is reported that images of Niva SUV by Chevrolet have been leaked in cyber world. According to reports the design of this proposed SUV have been developed by Russian Federal Institute of Industrial Property and therefore it is expected that these images might be determined for its version to be sold in Russian car market. However, the importance of these images are of great relevance for Indian buyers as according to rumors the same SUV will also be launched in Indian car market as Blazer and will compete against EcoSport from Ford.
The SUV was first time showcased in conceptual looks in 2014, but recent images available in internet are self explanatory to reveal the looks of this SUV. The front fascia carries same looks as offered by Ford EcoSport similarly you can witness mounted spare wheel on the rear portion. The side profile has been developed with thick lines that starts from the front portion and goes back to top of the rear portion.
As far as looks of Niva alias Blazer for Indian car market are concerned it is speculated to get minute changes. According to reports the proposed SUV might get some of its design from Adra concept which was showcased by US car maker during Indian Auto Expo 2014. It would be interested to know that Adra concept was completely developed by team of engineers working at technical centre of GM in Bangalore. Along with Ford EcoSport, Blazer will also compete with Hyundai Creta, Nissan Terrano, Mahindra TUV 300 and Renault Duster after launch in Indian car market.
