Crash Results Of Tata Curvv Disclosed Before Launch
A new update has surfaced about the upcoming coupe SUV Curvv from the domestic car maker Tata Motors. This update is not related to features or engines but to crash tests conducted to analyse the effectiveness of the safety features. The Curvv will be launched in both petrol and diesel variants followed by an electronic version. According to recent reports, all these versions have undergone crash tests at Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP levels and have received five-star ratings in both tests. Although, the company has not officially disclosed the results of these tests, and is believed to be announced on the day of its launch.

Under the hood, it will be equipped with a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, whereas the diesel variant will receive the power from a 1.5-litre engine, outsourced from Nexon and Altroz. The electronic version is expected to offer a range of 500 km on a single charge. Speaking about the exterior looks, they have been displayed on different platforms on various occasions.
The notable features include a signature LED welcome bar, dual-function LED DRLs, projector LED headlamps on the bumper, and a large air dam. The front design is similar to the Nexon and Harrier. The side profile reveals the coupe-like design elements, while other premium touches include flush-fitting door handles, a blacked-out roof, dual-tone alloy wheels, an LED connecting bar at the rear, sleek LED tail lamps, and muscular bumpers at both ends.
Although the interior has not been fully revealed, it is expected to carry the interiors of the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. The Curvv will feature Tata’s new floating-type touchscreen infotainment system with the latest user interface and a large, fully digital instrument cluster similar to other Tata models. Additional premium features include a panoramic sunroof, leatherette upholstery, ventilated seats, level 2 ADAS, automatic climate control, and more. The ICE version will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options.
