Curtains Of India Bound Electric Vehicle e-Tron Raised by Audi
Germany based car maker Audi has silently revealed the features of its first electric car e-Tron quite early before its office unveil on July 12, 2019. The electric vehicle is speculated to make its Indian debut during the month of November this year. Once launched in market the e-Tron will go against the likes of Jaguar i-Pace and Mercedes-Benz EQC. The list of features revealed about Audi e-Tron are referred below:
Engine: Under the hood the e-Tron will be empowered with two electric motors mounted at the rear and front portions. Both the motors together churn the power of 402 bhp and the torque of 664Nm. The e-Tron is capable of touching the mark of 100 kmph in the span of 5.7 seconds and touch the top-speed of 200 kmph. Once charged properly, it could run over the range of 400 kms.
Exterior Features: Speaking about the features that would be offered on the exterior will include OLED tail lamps, LED matrix headlamps, and adaptive air suspension system. According to the images revealed in the pictures it will be running on 21-inch wheels, however the Indian version is expected to be offered with 20-inch alloy wheels. It will be also offered with Quattro all-wheel drive system as an option, followed by electrical Quattro equipped with smart sensors, thus facilitating the drivers to retain strong group under varied driving conditions.

Interior Features: Inside the cabin the e-Tron carries the same looks as offered in all the cars manufactured by the car maker. Anyhow, still you can find some of the remarkable features like large touchscreen with dual display for controlling the infotainment system and various functions individually. List of other features include surround view camera, four zone climate control, smart ORVMs, that makes the use of camera to develop the clear picture of the exterior on the screen inside the cabin. It also embellishes the boot space of 660 litres followed by additional space at the beneath of the front seats.
Design: Going through its crossover looks the e-Tron will be offered to fill the bridge between Q5 and Q7. The impressive feature of Audi e-Tron that has an efficiency of grabbing the attention of commuters is the silver garnished octagonal shaped front grille, aerodynamic fascia, wing mirrors with integrated camera and flat alloy wheels. You will also find a socket for charging offered at the front left fender with a battery pack mounted at the floorboard.

Battery: The Audi e-Tron will be equipped with a 95kwh lithium-Ion battery with 36 modules, that can be replaced according to the conditions. The battery will be offered with 11kw wall mounted charger that consumes 8.5 hours to charge the car. Along with this the company also offers an extra 22kw charger that facilitates to charge the car in the span of 4.5 hours. It would be interesting to know that apart from this the company will also offer the facility of charging the vehicle at the public places where it will offer the facility of charging the car with 150kw charger, that charges 80% of the car within the duration of 30 minutes.
Price: As far as the price of Audi e-Tron is concerned, nothing has been so far revealed by the company, but going through the features it is anticipated to be offered with the price tag of Rs. 1 crore (ex-showroom).
