Dacia Lodgy all set to be launched in Romania tomorrow
MPVs are usually known as the family cars that can seat 7 people inside the car comfortably and offer ample space to store luggage. MPVs have monthly sales of 100 units, these humongous wagons priced between EUR 15,000-20,000. Dacia is all set to enter the Romanian market tomorrow, the Morocco produced Dacia at Tangier will finally be a part of the local market effective yesterday.

Renault Duster however was launched two years back in 2010, SUVs segment is the most dynamic segment of the local market. Dacia Lodgy will be a part of the second smallest market segment; this segment has smaller sales than the family cars posting only luxury sedans, with a price tag above EUR 70,000. In the first quarter of this year around 351 units of family cars were sold, registering a drop of 35 per cent in the same time period last year. In comparison to 2010 market has increased by 22 per cent at 1700 units. Peugeot 3008 continues to be the bestselling minivan in 2012. The price of Peugeot 3008 starts at RON 17,000.
