Datsun Go + MPV unveiled in Indian Auto Expo

Today was unforgettable day in the history of Nissan when its subsidiary company Datsun unveiled two of its keenly awaited vehicles Datsun Go hatchback and Datsun Go Plus MPV during ongoing Indian Auto Expo 2014. The Datsun Go plus MPV is already being sold in Indonesia. The Go + MPV is developed on Nissan Micra’s platform, it will be equipped with 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol engine developing the power of 68 bhp and torque of 104 Nm. The MPV is coated with five speed manual gearbox. Company will manufacture the MPV at Nissan’s production plant in Oragadam located in Chennai and would sold through Nissan dealers located in different corners of country.
 
The Go Plus MPV shares the same wheelbase as offered in Datsun Go hatchback, however it will be a seven seater vehicle. Apart from this an additional overhang has been offered in front of rear wheels so as to install third row of seat for extra passengers. It is expected that it will be probably priced below its rival including Ertiga from MSIL and Quanto from Mahindra.
