Datsun Starts Receiving The Bookings For Facelift Go And Go+
Datsun, the subsidiary of Japanese car maker Nissan Motors has commenced the bookings for the facelift version Go hatchback and Go+ MPV with the token amount of Rs. 11,000. Both the vehicles are scheduled for launch on October 9, 2018 and speculated to lure the buyers during the upcoming festive season with their newly introduced features. In their new avatar both the vehicles are reported to be offered with new additional colors, i.e., Amber Orange and Sunstone Brown respectively, besides their regular colors. It is also reported that both the vehicles will also be equipped with Android Auto and Apple Car Play systems.

Under the hood, both Go and Go+ will be continued with the existing 1.2 litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that will be capable of generating the power of 67 bhp and the torque of 104Nm at 5000 rpm and 4000 rpm respectively. The list of features that are reported to be offered in the facelift avatar will include integration of standard safety features like driver side airbag, anti lock braking system, rear parking sensors, speed alert, seatbelt reminder for front passengers and ELR-type seatbelts. One thing which might disappoint the Indian buyers is the absence of CVT gearbox, which although is offered in the global version of both these vehicles, but going through the high cost, not available in the Indian car market.

On the exterior front it will be embellished with new style of headlamps, daytime running lamps, newly designed sportier front bumper as a standard feature on all the trims, followed by 14 inch alloy wheels on the top end trim. Talking about the launch of facelift Datsun Go and Datsun Go+, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, Director Sales and Commercial, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., said, "The young consumers today are looking for a car which complements their lifestyle and embodies their expression. We are confident that the new Datsun GO and GO+ offers a complete package with attractive design, power and performance to our customers in India.”
