Delhi Police investigating for the Fake tickets sales at Auto Expo
The Delhi Police has been reported for the fake tickets sales near the Pragati Maidan during 2012 Auto Expo. They got various complains by visitors, those who have been charged or approached by the touts for these fake tickets. The cops clarified that they are trying best to catch the fake ticket fraudsters and the people involved with them.
During this big auto event the racketeers have easily managed to earn around one crore, along with the insiders or organizers help, they added further. Police is quite serious about this issue and constantly working on the available information. They have got some inputs about this fake ticket racket but investigation on getting the solid proof is still on.

Now, the organizers are looking ahead for the next edition of the biennial trade show from the same place i.e. Pragati Maidan along with the consideration to host the event on 5-12 February, 2014. Usually, this prestigious auto show has been scheduled for the first week of the January.
The Auto Expo 2012 steering committee chairman, Rajive Kaul has admitted to media that there were millions of visitors in auto expo and they had stopped allowing them in after to the security and infrastructure issues. The organizing team had restricted the entry of limited visitors inside the venue upto one lakh per day, including the 30, 000 exhibitors.
