Details of Mahindra NuvoSport revealed online

It seems domestic car maker Mahindra & Mahindra is in aggressive mood of dominating Indian car market and therefore within the span of six months it is going to launch its third vehicle NuvoSport (facelift version of Quanto), after successful launch of Mahindra TUV300 and KUV100 in India sometimes during next week. The upcoming NuvoSport is originally an advanced version of Qaunto and is a sub-4 metre SUV. Interestingly just ahead of its launch next week on April 4, 2016 the details related with this compact SUV have leaked in cyber world. According to reports the proposed vehicle will adorn 1.5 litre diesel engine which is similar as offered in Quanto. It is also reported that it will be offered in four trims namely N4, N4+, N6 and N8.

The 1493cc engine is reported to boost power of 100 bhp and torque of 240Nm and mated with five speed manual gearbox and five speed AMT transmission system. The SUV will also be offered with PWR and ECO driving modes which are helpful in enhancing fuel efficiency performance, while driving vehicle at ECO mode it generate the power of 180Nm. On the exteriors it will carry same looks as offered in generation next Scorpio with subtle updates making front fascia more aggressive with help of rough black colored bumper, LED DRLs ad faux skid plate and hood scoop. The rear profile carries same look as offered in erstwhile version of Scorpio except the integration of newly developed tail lamps, similarly the side profile also looks similar to earlier version of Scorpio with minute changes comprising of foot board, five spoke alloy wheels and newly developed ORVMs.

Inside the cabin it carries same looks as offered in Mahindra Qaunto with contemporary changes giving it a fresh look. The top end variant is reported to embellish eight ways adjustable seats, centre console system, reverse parking camera, dual DIN touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity and cruise control system.
