Electric Cars That Are Ready For Debut In India

Recently the Korean car maker Hyundai Motors launched its first ever electric  vehicle compact SUV Kona in the Indian car market, thus opening the ways of other leading car makers to boost the segment by launching their electric vehicles in the country. In-fact, after going through the interest of the central government for encouraging the use of electric vehicles, most of the car manufacturing companies have now seriously started their strategies for bringing their electric vehicles in the market.
 
Interestingly, some of the electric vehicles are  are ready to step in India soon in the coming months. Let us have a brief look at them.
 
MG eZS: Recently British car maker MG launched its compact SUV Hector in India and now getting ready to bring its first ever electric vehicle eZS soon in India. The bookings have been already commeneced by the Hector since June 4, 2019 and has scheduled to launch it sometime during the month of December this year. The MG eZS will be empowered with 45kWh battery and with an electric motor that generates the power of 148 hp. It is believed to be launched with the starting price of Rs. 25 lakh and can travel up to 300 kilometers after full charge.

Tata Altroz: After domestic car maker Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors is another car maker in India to join the bandwagon of companies launching their electric vehicles in the country. According to the sources, the home grown car maker will launch Altroz EV in India during the beginning of the next year and will be priced around Rs. 10 lakh. Once charged fully, the Altroz EV will be able to cover the distance of 300 Kms.

Audi e-tron: German luxury car maker Audi is also going to launch its electric vehicle e-tron soon in the Indian car market. The luxurious SUV is expected to be offered with the price tag of Rs. 1.5 crore and will cover the distance of 400 km once it is fully charged.

Nissan Leaf: The discussion about electric vehicles is incomplete without taking the name of Leaf by the Japanese car maker Nissan, which already dominates the segment of the electric vehicles across the world. It will be offered with the battery pack of 40kWH and expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 35 lakh to Rs. 40 lakh. According to the sources of company the Leaf can also cover the distance of 400 kms once it is fully charged.
