Facelift Chevrolet Beat unveiled in Indian Auto Expo
After unveiling the facelift version of Chevrolet Beat hatchback in Paris Motor Show held last year, General Motors unveiled the same version of Beat in the ongoing Indian Auto Expo 2014. The facelift Beat continues the same existing engine configurations i.e. 1.2 litre petrol engine (followed by LPG version) and 1.0 litre diesel engine. Wherein petrol engine develops the power of 79.4 bhp and torque of 108 Nm, and diesel engine generates the power of 57. Bhp and torque of 150 Nm. Both engines are mated with five speed manual transmission system transmitting power to front wheels.
The major changes which have been introduced in facelift version of Chevrolet Beat includes newly designed front bumper, followed by redesigned grille and fog lamps. Apart from this it also receives alloy wheels and newly developed rear spoiler, which are designed to give it more sportier look. Moving towards the interiors the major changes have been introduced in centre console and newly high quality upholstery seat.
