Facelift Hyundai Verna to be introduced in Chinese car market by end of 2013
Korean auto car market Hyundai Motors is going to launch the facelift of its highly acclaimed sedan Hyundai Verna in Chinese car market by the end of this year. In Chinese market Verna is codenamed as Rena and is placed in top 20 cars that are being highly liked by car enthusiasts in China. According to industry experts the idea of launching facelift of Verna may be due to increasing competition Verna (Rena) is receiving from other cars like Honda City, Nissan Sunny and Ford Fiesta in same segment. It is speculated that company will carry the same existing engine options of 1.4 litre petrol, 1.6 litre petrol and 1.4 diesel engine followed by five speed manual or four speed automatic transmission system.
It is reported that company has introduced major cosmetic and technical changes in the facelift depending upon the feedback received from customers and existing market conditions. The major changes have been introduced in headlamps, grille and fog lights, apart from this company have also introduced daytime running lights in the facelift version. With all these changes and strong grip of Verna in Chinese market it is expected that this facelift will enhance the number of Verna admirers in Chinese car market. It is rumored that Korean auto giant will introduce the facelift Verna in Indian car market sometimes in middle of next year.
