Facelift Volkswagen Vento launched, priced Rs. 7.44 lakh
Volkswagen India, the Indian alliance of German car maker Volkswagen has launched the highly awaited facelift version of its sedan Vento in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 7.44 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi). The major change which has been offered in facelift Vento apart from cosmetic changes on the exteriors and interiors is integration of 1.5 litre diesel engine which is also offered in facelift version of Polo hatchback. The facelift has been launched in both petrol and diesel version with different engines and transmission options. These include 1.6 litre MPI petrol engine coated with five speed manual transmission system. It is offered in three trims namely Trendline, Comfortline, and Highline. Another engine option in petrol version is empowered with 1.2 litre TSI engine and is mated with seven speed DSG transmission system and is offered in two trims Comfortline and Highline. Moving ahead the diesel variant is empowered with 1.5 litre TDI diesel engine and it is mated with five speed manual gearbox. It also offered in three trims as in petrol version namely Trendline, Comfortline, and Highline. The second engine option in diesel mil is energized with 1.5 litre TDI engine and it is mated seven speed DSG transmission system and it also offered in two trims Comfortline and Highline.
The cosmetic changes offered in exteriors of facelift Vento and newly designed headlamps and front bumper followed by chrome garnish. The alloy wheels have also been redesigned with this the tail lamp and read bumper has also been revamped. Moving towards interiors, the sedan receives three spoke steering wheel carried from facelift Polo hatchback, steering mounted audio controls followed by piano black finish interior. The interiors also receive dual colored dashboard followed by silver garnish with black contrast on central console.

Vento 1.6 MPI Petrol Manual - Rs 7.44 lakh to Rs 8.87 lakh (Trendline, Comfortline and Highline)
Vento 1.2 TSI Petrol (7-speed DSG) - Rs 9.35 lakh to Rs 9.92 lakh (Comfortline and Highline)
Vento 1.5 TDI Manual - Rs 8.57 lakh to Rs 9.90 lakh (Trendline, Comfortline and Highline)
Vento 1.5 TDI (7-speed DSG) - Rs 10.49 to Rs 10.94 lakh in (Comfortline and Highline)
