FCAIPL To Launch Jeep Compass In India On July 31, 2017
FCAIPL the Indian owned subsidiary of Italy based car maker Fiat is all set to launch its first ever SUV Jeep Compass in Indian car market on July 31, 2017. The bookings of the same have been already initiated by the car since June 19, 2017 at the down payment of Rs. 50,000 only through company’s official website and also through its dealership across the country.
Under the hood Jeep Compass will be empowered with 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol and 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine package. The former will be capable of boosting the power of 162 bhp and torque of 250Nm, where as the later generates the power of 173 bhp and peak torque of 350Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by six speed manual and seven speed dual clutch system, depending upon the preference of the buyers.
Talking about the features that would be offered in Jeep Compass include High-Intensity Discharge headlamps with DRLs, LED tail lamps, black painted roof, roof rails, and seventeen inch alloy wheels. It will be available in three variants Sport, Longitude and Limited. Inside the cabin it will be equipped with keyless entry, push button start, dual-zone climate control, seven inch touch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear parking sensors with camera, and leather seat upholstery.
On the safety front it will adorn, ABS+EBD, six airbags, cornering fog lamps, electronic stability control, hill start assist and roll over mitigation. It is believed to be offered in the price range from Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh.
