Features of generation next Honda Accord revealed by company
Last years have been very successful for Japanese car maker in Indian car market and it has emerged as third leading car manufacturing company in the country. Now, with an objective to continue its same success story the car maker is going to upgrade its sedan Accord with bunch of cosmetic changes on both exteriors and interiors which would be similar to its U.S. counterpart. Although the changes introduced in generation next Accord will not be offered in facelift of its hybrid version reported to debut by the end of this year.

Under the bonnet new Accord will continue with same 2.0 and 2.4 litre petrol engine options boosting the power of 153 bhp and 172 bhp and mated with torque converter automatic gearbox as offered in existing Honda Accord. On the exterior it will receive newly developed front grille with thick chrome plate, followed by integration of newly developed headlamps with integrated DRLs. On the rear it receives LED tail lamps. Along with these features additional features adorned in new Accord will comprise of newly developed front and rear bumpers followed by LED fog lamps, giving an aggressive and dynamic appearance of vehicle.

Inside the cabin it will embellish engine remote start facilitating the driver to start his car with remote, 7.7 inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot and mirror link. The dashboard however continues to be the same but sports wooden and piano black work at various places. Therefreshed version of Accord was showcased by Japanese car maker during the Indian Auto Expo 2016 held earlier this month.
