Features of Hyundai Accent (Verna) 2014 for American market disclosed
South Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has revealed features of its new Hyundai Accent (known as Hyundai Verna in Indian car market) 2014 to be launched in American car market. The car received overwhelming response from American car enthusiast since its launch in 2011. And now the new version has been reported to receive more additional features which will enhance the list of features already available in Accent.
As far as mechanical changes are concerned it does not carry any noticeable mechanical changes and carries the 1.6 litre Gamma four cylinder engine which churns the power of 138 bhp and torque of 166 Nm. One thing which needs to be specified about engine specifications is that it allows for GDI which improves its fuel efficiency and results in lower emissions. The engine is mated with six speed manual transmission system or six speed automatic transmission system followed by SHIFTRONIC and Active ECO System will Hillstart Assist control. The safety measure introduced in Hyundai Accent 2014 include six airbags, of which two are front impact airbags, two front seat mounted side impact airbags and curtain side impact airbags for all passengers.
Company has launched new Hyundai Accent in both hatchback and sedan looks and will be offered in three options including four door GLS, five door GS and five door SE. Both models will be blessed with some common features which include one touch triple turn signal, sliding sun visors and blind sport mirror followed regular audio system which has been enhanced with voice recognition feature and button layout. Other features included in new version includes projector headlights with LED accents, tilt and telescopic steering wheel mounted on five door SE and four door models. The SE model is also blessed with B&M Racing sport shifter which makes easy shifting of gears in automatic version. It is the expected that same model will be launched in Indian car market during August next year.
