Italian auto giant Ferrari today launched its iconic car Ferrai 488 GTB in Indian car market with priced Rs. 3.88 crore (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The new 488GTB is the survivor of 458 Italia and therefore at first glance it looks similar to its predecessor. However it does not mean it completely looks like it Italia and there are various elements which makes it look different it for instance its aerodynamic look which gives it new appearance. Apart from this 85% of its looks are different from its elder sibling.

The most important change introduced in 488GTB is integration of V8 3.9 litre turbocharged engine that develops the power of 670 bhp and torque of 760Nm. The peak torque is achieved after driving the super car in seventh gear. With efficiency of achieving the top notch of 330 kmph the car accelerates speed of 100 kmph from standstill in the span of just 3 seconds and is mated with seven speed F1 dual clutch system.

It would be interested to know that despite of carrying looks similar to 458 Italian the combination of front double spoiler and aero pillar results in instant diversion of air more effectively. Inside the cabin it receives treatment of carbon fibre followed by option of personalised stitching similar to leather. The steering wheel is similar to Ferrari F1.
