Ferrari Reveals 812 Superfast Ahead of Geneva Motor Show

Italy based car maker Ferrari has revealed the Ferrari 812 Superfast ahead of Geneva Motor Show 2017. The new 812 Ferrari Superfast is empowered with 6.5 litre V12 engine that is capable of generating 789 bhp at 8,500 rpm and the torque of 718Nm at 7,000 rpm. The transmission duty is performed by dual-clutch gearbox through rear wheels. The introduction of new 812 Superfast will now replace the F12berlinetta from the portfolio of car maker. The super car is capable of touching the mark of 100 kmph in the span of 2.9 seconds followed by the top notch of 211 mph (339.5 km/h).

The major features offered in Ferrari 812 Superfast includes electronic assisted power steering, which is for the first time has been introduced in any of the Ferrari’s car. With this it also adorns upgraded four wheel steering set called as Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 and according to the sources of car maker the revised steering set enhances the performance of vehicle while crossing from deep corners. The sources of company also said that the designing of 812 Superfast is inspired by the 1969, 365 GTB4 ‘Daytona’ which was mainly recognized for its rear portion sporting four round shaped taillights.

With this the rear portion also sports dual exhaust system along with painted diffuser place at the beneath of rear apron. As far as other details about features are pricing are concerned that will be revealed at the global unveiling of Ferrari Grand Tourer during Geneva Motor Show.
It would be interested to know that although the Italian car maker has named 812 as the Superfast car because of the naturally aspirated engine mounted in it, but the title of fastest car by the maker is still owned by LaFerrari Hybrid Hypercar.
