Fiat might replace the Grande Punto badge with Pandona Moniker
Fiat is right now busy developing the next-gen Fiat Grande Punto, which would come to the car market in 2014. Apart from refreshing the car completely, the company is also planning to give the car a new brand name. According to the rumor filling the market air, 2014 Fiat Punto will be christened as Pandona. Fiat India has mentioned already that the car will come in 2013 and the makeover will be given on the outside as well as on the outside.

Talking about the next-gen Fiat Punto, or shall we say Pandona, the car will be getting a major makeover. The engine will also be reworked upon, with the turbo petrol and turbo diesel engine options. Fiat is known for its high class styling and the next-gen Punto is likely to get the facelift with loads of style and chicness. Punto is a very important car for Fiat as the company has almost created a great lineup based on the same platform; including new Fiat 500L and 500X hatchbacks.

In the Indian car market,, Fiat Grande Punto is present in the B+ segment. The car is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. Besides the 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine, which would be tuned in two states, 75BHP-190Nm and 90BHP-200Nm and two petrol engine options. These petrol engines will comprise of 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre. The high class ride and handling have always made it consumers first choice in terms of hatchbacks. Furthermore, the looks always make the car even more special and innovative. The ‘tank like’ appearance helps the car to stand out amongst its other competitors present in the market. In 2014, Fiat India might also bring in refreshed Fiat Linea Classic, next-gen Linea sedan, and a compact SUV.
