Fiat Panda SUV launch in India after Paris debut

There are exactly 28 days to the Paris Motor Show and the countdown has already begun with car makers starting showing their pre launch might. In a similar attempt, Italian car maker Fiat has showcased the new Fiat Panda SUV. This 4x4 drive powered car is all set to rock the market this September 29 when the fortnight long Paris Motor Shows kicks off. Notably, the Fiat Panda is an upcoming car India and it is expected that after its global launch, the car maker might think it launch this Fiat car in the country. Significantly, the car maker is aggressively looking forward to expand its portfolio and Panda SUV is one of the major contender to start it off. Currently, the car maker has only two offerings – Fiat Linea and Fiat Punto catering to the sedan and hatchback segment respectively.

 
The new Panda is the third generation avatar of the SUV that has seen many changes en route its 30 year long career. The just under four meter car with a four wheel drive qualify for the excise rebate in India and Fiat could think of bringing it to India soon. The festive season is the best time to launch new cars and Fiat could utilize this opportunity to pitch in its new cars. Among other features, the Fiat SUV Panda is known for its safety, performance and all weather tyres that can withstand any terrain happily.
 
The Panda SUV has a full time four wheel drive in place that makes it a prime contender and a rival to a host of SUVs including the Renault Duster, Ford Ecosport, Premier Rio and most importantly Maruti XA Alpha. Expected to be launched at a price tag of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 6.5 lakh, the Fiat SUV will be one of those SUVs that India wishes to have it in its fleet of SUVs in the country. The Panda SUV for India will be powered by the iconic 1.3 L multijet engine and it will have exceptional mileage to satiate the mileage expectations of the Indian SUV buyers who are now accustomed to 19 kmpl plus mileage after the launch of Duster in India.
