Fiat Punto Sport 90 HP limited edition launches today in India
Fiat India did not participate in the 2012 Auto Expo, but the company launched the new versions of its two cars, Fiat Linea and Fiat Grande Punto in India just before the grandiose event commenced that is on January 4th, 2012. After over five months of its launch Fiat India is ready to roll out the limited edition of its hatchback, Fiat Grande Punto 90 HP sport, today. The new car will be launched in three colours including Exotica Red, hip hop black and bossa nova white.

The limited edition of Fiat Grande Punto 90 HP sport variant now comes with racing strips that renders it a sporty look. Black finished roof, red stitches highlighted on the dashboard, new lustrous 17 inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, chrome plated exhaust tip, chrome accented interiors, sporty metallic pedals, Punto branded door sill and many more.

However, at the time of launch, the company did not reveal any detail regarding the launch of upgraded Punto back in January. Also the company had no plans to launch the any new car in India during 2012 and hence asserted that the company would focus on building the brand image in order to revive its sales in India. Fiat is also building strategy to expand its service network in India. Fiat will also be inaugurating the second Fiat Cafe which will be located in Pune, Maharashtra.

Fiat is known for its diesel engines, and the Fiat Punto Sport 90 HP is powered by a sturdy diesel engine, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that this is one of the most robust diesel small cars in India. The 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine with variable geometry turbocharger generates 93PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 209Nm. Due to the hike in excise duty on cars, Fiat Grande Punto 90 HP price has been hiked a little and now it will be something higher than the existing models. The hatchback will compete with Renault Pulse, Maruti Swift, Hyundai i20 and the likes.

What's the road price of it..
Fiat Grande Punto Interiors are really good. Engine is the best part of this car. it is giving me a mileage of 13km per litre in city and it is giving an average of 20km on highway with AC.
