Fiat Punto Sporting Dualogic Plus launched

Italian car giant Fiat has yet again made the small car Fiat Punto more worth. The car maker has launched the Fiat Punto Sporting Dualogic Plus. This is a more powerful automatic variant of the Punto. In India, the car maker had lately launched the 90 PS Fiat Punto Sport that became the most powerful diesel hatchback. This new model of Punto launched in Brazil is a single clutch box car which is almost similar to the manual transmission car but it has an automatic clutch. The Punto Sporting Dualogic Plus price in Brazil is 61,965 Real which is approximately equal to more than Rs 16.5 lakh in the Indian currency.  

This car is a real sports car with some sports utility car features. A feature of the car is the Creep Function. This system enhances the torque output if the car is driven at low speed in the first gear or if the car is in the reverse gear. This facilitates extra power to the car and it makes sure that the car is never stuck in mud or gravel at low speeds. The new Punto is powered by 1.8 L engine which is a 16 valve EtorQ engine with maximum power output to the extent of 132 bhp. This will let the car have the perfect combination of the power and output to the wheels through the new transmission.

In India, the Punto is the one of the only two cars by the Italian car maker. The other is the Fiat Linea sedan. As per the official statements released by the car maker, it will not introduce any new models from its own stable for now and will be upgrading Punto and Linea. However, it will be launching cars from its Jeep brand in India.
