Fiat to bring Jeep to India-Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Wrangler on cards

In good old days, you must have seen police climbing a Willys Jeep in order to chase the villain on heels over head in a Chevrolet Impala. That was the time that the SUV pumped some action and even today as well the SUV are the real adrenaline machines. Carrying forward this tradition American car maker Chrysler is soon to introduce Jeep brand cars in India. Jeep is considered to be the senior of all SUVs and a truest off roader with ultimate 4x4 capabilities. Jeep cars were even in the fleet during world war II and now when the SUVs are going for a fight with the segment getting intense in the coming months, it is going to play a vital role here as well.

Jeep Grand Cherokee at an expected price of Rs 30 lakh, Jeep Liberty at an expected price of Rs 23 lakh and Jeep Wrangler at an expected price of Rs 22 lakh are all slated to be launched in India this year somewhere near Diwali. As per media reports, Fiat India which is an Italian car maker and much dormant in India lately will be bringing in the Jeep cars in the country.

If there is any pure SUV on earth it is the Jeep and when Fiat is bringing it through Chrysler group, the SUV enthusiasts are on cloud nine dreaming of an off roading in a Jeep. The SUVs that are presently available in India such as Audi Q5, BMW X3 or the likes are all too small for Jeep. The Grand Cherokee is what is expected first to enter India and it will be the update version of it. Apart from the muscle filled body of the Grand Cherokee, is a five seater power plant that is 4x4 ready and can take on whatever comes in its way.
