Apart from Wrangler and Keep, the car will also be coming up with a racing car brand called Abarth sometime in 2013. According to Fiat officials, Jeep brand will be officially introduced by Fiat in India by next year and slowly it will begin manufacturing Jeep products in India only to make the price competitive and affordable for the Indian audience. According to Fiat, the company is currently focusing on B and C segment here, where it will help the firm to make its establishment stronger and better. Apart from Jeep and Wrangler, Fiat will also be bringing in the face-lifted Linea Sedan and refreshed Fiat Punto hatchback. The new generation Fiat Linea sedan is also in the pipelines, while the company is planning to bring a compact SUV, which would directly compete with Ford EcoSport that will be launched in India in March 2013.

Furthermore, the company is thinking of making India a base and exports its cars from India to other countries. However, if we look at the sales, Fiat is not going very strong on that part. This fiscal year, it sold merely 16,095 units, which showcased a 24% of downfall, which is in spite of some heavy duty discounts of up to Rs. 1 lakh. Let’s hope that the new range of cars from Fiat would help Fiat to raise it level in the market even more than before.
