Ford confirms launch of Mustang in Indian car market
From long time it has been rumored that U.S. based car maker Ford is going to launch Mustang in Indian car market. Now finally the American car maker has confirmed that it will launch the highly awaited car in Indian car market sometimes during this year and is one of the four cars that car maker has in pipeline for this year in Indian car market. At present in international market Mustang is offered with three engine options of 5.0 litre V8 engine boosting the power of 420 bhp and torque of 530 Nm, this engine offers fuel efficient performance with low emissions, 3.7 litre V6 engine generating the power of 300 bhp and torque of 366 Nm.
Apart from these two engine options it also boosts 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine churning the power of 305 bhp and torque of 406Nm. Moving ahead with an objective to thrill the enthusiasts with most powerful engine configuration, Ford plans to offer Mustang Shelby GT500 variant that would be enriched with 5.8 litre supercharged V8 engine. The generation next Mustang is reported to reach the European dealer sometimes during this year, after which it will make its way towards Indian car market. Interestingly it would be for the first time in 50 years history of sports car that it would be throughout the European car market.
The major features offered in Ford Mustang 2015 includes intelligent access, Microsoft SYNC and MyKey, Track Apps (Opt), Shaker Pro audio system (Opt), Push-button start, MyColor gauges (Opt) and SYNC AppLink facilitating drivers to control their smartphone for listening their liked songs.
