Ford cuts prices of Aspire and Figo up-to 91,000
With an objective to increase the declining sales of compact sedan Aspire and Figo hatchback, Ford India has announced to cut off the prices of both vehicles up to Rs. 91,000 with immediate effect. According to revised price list issued by the Indian alliance of U.S. based car maker the price of compact sedan Ford Aspire will now start from Rs. 5.28 lakh and go high up-to Rs. 6.8 lakh for its petrol variant. The decline in price varies from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 91,000 depending upon the type of trim preferred by buyer. The price of diesel Ford Aspire now starts from Rs. 6.37 lakh and ends at Rs. 8.79 lakh for top end variant.
The revised prices of Figo hatchback for petrol 1.2 litre now fall between Rs. 4.54 lakh and Rs. 6.29 lakh, while the prices of diesel Figo hatchback now starts from Rs. 5.63 lakh and go high up-to Rs. 7.18 lakh for top end variant.
Commenting on the decision of slash in prices of compact sedan Aspire and hatchback Figo, Mr. Anurag Mehrotra, Executive Director (Marketing, Sales and Service) Ford India said,"With the realignment of prices, Figo and Aspire are even more compelling for customers. The realignment also enhances the accessibility of these outstanding products, which offer segment-first safety features and class-leading technologies."
