Ford Figo Celebration Edition to arrive on 4th March

Ford India will have a busy year this time. The car maker is all set make its Figo fans happy by rolling out the Celebration edition of its Ford Figo hatchback on 4th of March 2013. This time around, its Ford’s 3rd anniversary and what better could have been then launching a Celebration Edition of its most saleable car. The car will be coming with lots of cosmetic additions. The technical specifications haven’t been touched here and kept same as before. You would be still able to pick from 1.2-Litre petrol and 1.4-Litre diesel mill.

The changes on the outside and inside haven’t been mentioned by the firm right now. But you could expect Ford Figo Celebration Edition to be trendy, elegant and sportier. Back in October 2012, Ford India brought in the refreshed version of Ford Figo for Rs.3.85 lakh and now it’s the Celebration Edition. Looks like, the firm very well knows, that consumers in India love Figo hatchback and want to see it every time with more improvements and better style. The pricing details of Ford Figo Celebration Edition are kept under the hood for now and will be revealed on 4th of March itself.

Earlier there were rumors in the market that Ford will bring in the much awaited Ford EcoSport SUV in the country on 4th March. But, instead Ford Figo Celebration Edition sounded as a better decision as it’s viable, affordable and compact. Ford EcoSport on the other hand will come in next couple of weeks with a price tag of Rs. 6 - 9 lakh and would compete with Renault Duster. Till now, Ford India hasn’t spoken about the launch details of Ford EcoSport, but you could expect it to be a huge event as it is one of the most awaited launch for the firm.
