Ford Motors to introduce Sync AppLink it its vehicles from 2014
Delivering an enhanced driving experience to its customers is the prime objective of Ford Motors and this is witnessed in the vehicles launched by company, which are evident of the fact that vehicle is blessed with latest technical features. Moving ahead in the same endeavors, company has unveiled a new software known as Sync AppLink during Mobile Developer Summit held recently in Bangalore. The new software is voice operated software that establishes direct link between software integrated in smartphone and the system mounted in car. It is reported that company will install this software in all its vehicles that will launched in 2014.
The integration of new software will facilitate the user to connect his smartphone with this software and then easily access various applications adhered in his smartphone for instance, music, news, internet radio, navigation and various others. All these applications can be operated through voice command. Company has introduced this technical feature in its recently launched EcoSport SUV and after is successful implementation in SUV it is going to introduce this feature in all its vehicles from 2014.
According to Mr. Vinay Piparsani, Executive Dirctor, Marketing, Sales and Service, there are more than 65 millin smartphone uses in country who prefer to stay connected with all developments taking place throughout the world. Keeping this requirements of customers in concern Ford has endeavored on introduction of innovative technology in auto industry. It should be remembered that prior to this software Ford has introduced use of Bluetooth connectivity in Figo and after introduction of voice control technology in Fiesta it introduced Sync Technology in Ford EcoSport which proved to be a huge successes.
