Ford to launch its Ka concept MPV in 2016
The Ford Figo hatchback and Ford EcoSport have played an incredible role in establishing Ford India as one of the established car makers in Indian car market, especially the Ford EcoSport has succeeded in making everyone crazy towards itself that company has announced that it will operate its production continuously for 24 hours from the second half of this year.
But unfortunately apart from both these vehicles other products from company did not helped company to mark its presence in Indian car market. But now it seems that company is working on strengthening its position in Indian car market and the first step in direction was witnessed in the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo 2014 wherein company unveiled its sub 4m Figo compact sedan in the show and it is speculated that it will be launched in the Indian car market in the early days of 2015. If this vehicle succeeds in marking its presence in market after launch it would be half mark achievement by company, as still it has to make its presence in MPV segment. It is the point where company will introduce its Ford Ka Concept MPV in market.
The Ford Ka Concept MPV is a sub-4 meter sedan which is blessed with longer wheelbase, other major changes which are offered in this MPV are big headlights and taillmaps. Besides this most of the features offered in this concept MPV are same as adorned in Ford Figo concept sedan. After launch in Indian car market the Ka concept will be compete against Ertiga from Maruti and Honda’s upcoming MPV Mobilio.
