French Car Maker PSA Ready For Its Debut In The Indian Car Market
It is reported that the French car maker PSA might step in the Indian car market sometimes during next year by driving a SUV. According to the reports the car maker might introduce its SUV Citroen C84 or Citroen C5-Aircross to strengthen its roots in India. The car maker will start launching its mass products from 2021 after properly assessing the condition of the Indian car market.

Revealing the compnay’s plans for the Indian car market, sources associated with the production said that first product to make its debut in India would be Citroen C5-Aircross that would be brought through CKD Route. For this the car maker is speculating to assemble the parts of this SUV at its unit located in Chennai to keep the prices competitive. Once launched in India the SUV C5-Aircross will go against the likes of Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and proposed Karoq from Skoda.

Besides, launching these SUV’s the French car maker will also start the launch of cars for mass segment including the compact SUV’s and sedans. However, these products will make their debut during 2021. The further plans are yet to be revealed by the car maker.
