Geneva Motor Show : Volkswagen unveils its T-Cross Breeze compact SUV concept
German car maker Volkswagen has showcased the concept of its highly awaited compact SUV T-Cross Breeze during the 86th edition of Geneva Motor Show 2016. Developed on Polo’s next generation MQB platform the T-Cross Breeze will be empowered with 1.0 litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine that churns the power of 110 bhp and torque of 175Nm. The engine will be mated with seven speed dual clutch automatic gearbox and is capable of touching the mark of 100 kmph from standstill in the span of 10.3 seconds.
Look wise the T-Cross Breeze adorns broad front grille with slim headlights along with enlarged LED circles across the fog lights. The rear end of this first convertible vehicle of Polo family is customised with LED lights along with enlarged boot space. The side profile is decorated with dual colored line treatment which is further enhanced with 19 inch aluminum wheels. On the interiors it is equipped with features like Human Machine Interface and Active Info Display.
Physically it measures length of 4,133 mm, width of 1,798mm, height of 1,563mm, wheelbase of 2,565 mm and bootspace of 300 litres.
