According to recent reports U.S based car maker is working on bringing next generation of its Compass SUV, codenamed as C-SUV soon in global car market. The same SUV is also proposed to make its debut in Indian car market sometimes during the later months of 2017, and will be third product by car maker in Indian after Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Edition and Jeep Grand Cherokee. Recently images of the same vehicle have emerged on cyber world giving an outlook of how the final version of Compass SUV will look. The vehicle is reported to be first launched in American and Chinese car market after which it will make its debut in Brazilian car market.

 

 

To begin with engine specifications nothing has been so far revealed by company as far as Indian car market is concerned. However, it is speculated to be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises with former empowered with 2.0 litre flex fuel engine boosting the power of 160bhp and torque of 196Nm, while the later with 2.0 litre Multi-jet engine. The transmission system will be managed by six speed manual gearbox and nine speed automatic transmission system respectively.

 

 

The front fascia is seen continuing same look as offered in its sibling Grand Cherokee, although minute changes. At front portion you will find signature chrome grille, LED DRLs mounted at the beneath of front bumper, black plastic claddings and few more. The side profile will embellish chrome garnished door handles, newly developed alloy wheels and charcatwr lines.

 

It is also speculated that U.S car maker might unveil the Jeep C-SUV In US this month. According to reports the production of India bound Compass SUV will be conducted at Ranjangaon, Maharasthra where Italian car maker Fiat Chrysler manufactures its products.
