Good News: Tata Tiago Crossed 2 Lakh Sales
It’s just 3 years of launch and Tata Tiago has crossed 2 Lakh units and the company Tata Motors expanded the line up with new variants to maintain the growth consistency. Tata Tiago is one of the most popular products of the company as the launch of Tiago three years back was a turnaround as this hatchback helped company to improve its reputation and also helped in building a strong customer base for future products like Nexon and Harrier.
Tata Motors has expanded the Tiago lineup by introducing new variants in 2017 i.e. the XZA and XTA AMT models. In the very same year, a special edition Wizz was also introduced to continue growth.
Earlier this year, Tata Motors has launched a new XZ+ top end variant that has inbuilt some new features to make it more appealing for the customers. The new Tiago come up with ABS and EBD as part of the standard package and was the only one offered in top end variant till now. The dual airbags used are standard. It has seat belts with pre tensioners and load limiters as a part of optional safety package being a top variant.
The interiors of Tata Tiago are completely different from all other products by Tata Motors as the material quality has been increased considerably. The Tiago comes up with amazing features like touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto, climate control, alloy wheels, electronically controlled exterior mirrors and more. Two engines were developed for Tata Tiago hatchback as the petrol model is powered by 1.2L Revotron engine producing 85 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The engine is set to manual with AMT gearbox.
