The sports car rental service is currently available for Mumbaikars only but the company hopes to expand the service to other metros as well. As per the annual packages available that start from Rs 5 lakh and the subscriber gets 3000 points and 20 days of free driving in a year. There are other membership plans also available and these are Rs 8 lakh and Rs 15 lakh and give the subscriber 40 and 80 days of driving respectively.

Thus calculating it per car per day, it comes out to be Rs 80,000 a day for Ferrari F430 whereas hiring a Porsche 911 Turbo or a BMW Z4 is far cheaper to rent per day. However, these rates are for weekdays and different rates apply for weekends when there is higher demand for these cars. Apart from this, since the car is not owned by you, there are certain rules to follow besides refraining from pressing the throttle too hard. The hiring is for a minimum of three to five days and a maximum of 10 days. Also, driving out of Mumbai means you have to inform the company. Most importantly racing with these hired cars is strictly banned. Shaman is the promoter, the very company that is the dealers for Mercedes, Honda and Volkswagen cars in Mumbai.
