HMIL Records The Growth Of 2.5% During The FY 2018-19
According to the sales statistics revealed by the country’s second largest car manufacturing company Hyundai Motors India Limited, it has recorded an increase of 2.5% in sales during the Financial Year 2018-19. The cumulative sales including in both the domestic and international car market by the Indian alliance of the Korean car maker were 7,07,348 units as against 6,90,184 units sold during the Financial Year 2017-18. The company sold out 5,45,243 units in the domestic car market during the FY 2018-19, which is 1.7% higher than 5,36,241 units sold by the company in the domestic market during the FY 2017-18.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Vikas Jain, National Sales Head, HMIL, said,"With a strong commitment for making Happy Life of our customers through Open Innovations, Best-in-segment products, and Excellent Customer Service Experience, we closed the financial year 2018-19 on a positive note with a growth of 1.7 percent and highest- ever domestic volume of 545,153 units meeting and exceeding our customer aspirations."
One thing which could surprise the Korea car maker is that despite of an increase of 2.5% during the FY2018-19, it recorded the decline of 7.5% in the domestic sales during the month of March 2019. During the month of the March, it sold out of 44,350 units in the Indian car market as against 48,009 units sold during the same month in 2017-18. However, one thing which could make the carmaker happy is that in the International car market it recorded the growth of almost 25.6% during the same period as against the last year. During the month of March, this year company sold out 16,800 unit as against 12,498 units sold in the March 2017-18.
