Honda Accord images of Russian model comes up

There are reporting coming in that Honda has adopted a go slow strategy for India. Equally, there are reports that it could delay the new Honda Civic and Honda Accord launch in India and could wipe out the Accord sedan altogether. But it doesn’t mean the Japanese car maker is also docile world over. In Russia, the car maker has decided to introduce the new Accord and some images of the new sedan have come up. These images suggest that the new Accord will have a near total facelift and it will be very exciting than any other earlier facelifts.

The two sketches that have come up recently on the internet seem to have been revealed by Honda as these were supposed to have been revealed at the just concluded Moscow Motor Show. As part of the exterior changes, there is not much to see but the Russian model line up will have a lot of work under the hood. As per the reports, the Russian Accord will have a powerful 278 hp engine which will have 3.5 L cubic capacity and there will be six valves taking care of the fuel. The engine will be a direct fuel injection type to maximize power output. Thus being high on power, the new Accord will have a top notch performance that will be beating any of the segment rivals.

Back in India, the recent reports of the go slow strategy has really marred the Honda car lovers and it is seems that Honda has shifted its focus from India. It also seems that as the market is moving from petrol to diesel gradually, Honda cars being offered only in petrol have lagged behind in sales resulting in Indian market becoming a loss loss affair for the car maker. However, sometime earlier it seemed that Honda is aggressive about India and will be launching the Honda Jazz Diesel, Honda City Diesel soon.
