Honda Avancier showcased by Honda Motors
Guangqi Honda the Chinese arm of Japanese car maker has showcased its upcoming SUV Avancier ahead of Beijing Auto Show 2016. The unit of SUV unveiled is the production concept of Honda Concept D SUV, which was showcased last year during Auto Shanghai Motor 2015 and was spied being tested on Chinese roads by the end of year. Although the version of Avancier showcased carries the same looks as Concept D, but still it carries some eye catching impression of those features in form of sloped roofline and few more.

Under the hood it will embellish 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine developed specifically for Chinese car market along with option of 2.4 litre petrol engine. The engine with 2.0 litre nine speed gear transmission whereas engine 2.0 litre engine with six speed manual gear transmission system. With wheelbase length of 2,820mm the Avancier will be placed above CR-V and will compete against Ford Edge and Toyota Highlander.

On the exterior front it receives chrome garnished grille with projector headlamps. The side profile receives an impressive profile giving it a look of some sport coupe, whereas at the rear side sloping roofline along with wrapped around tail lamps enhance the view of rear portion. Inside the cabin it embellishes free floating touchscreen system, climate control system and also digital instrument cluster. Grapevine is that it will be offered with three row seats followed by option of folding seats to explore the boot space.
