Honda Elevate Makes its Entry Into the Indian Car Market
Finally, the Japanese carmaker Honda has launched its highly awaited compact SUV Elevate in the Indian car market. The company had already started bookings for the new SUV in July 2023. The new Honda Elevate is offered with a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh for the base variant and Rs 15.99 lakh for the top-end variant. Both prices are ex-showroom prices. The latest offering from Honda Cars India Limited will go against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Kia Seltos.

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate comes equipped with a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC engine that generates the power of 121 PS and a torque of 145Nm. The transmission duties will be performed by a six-speed manual gearbox or with a seven-speed CVT automatic transmission system. Speaking about exterior features, the Elevate receives a muscular front fascia. It receives a large black radiator grille, LED headlights and LED DRLs, black fog lamps, LED taillights, and large wheel arches. The side profile gets sidelines and black claddings to enhance its aesthetic appeal. It also receives a ground clearance of 220 mm, the highest in the segment.
Inside the cabin, it has spacious interiors to accommodate five adult occupants easily. Other features offered on the interior front are a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless connectivity with a smartphone, there is also a seven-inch HD colour TFT driver display, automatic climate control and a few more.
On the safety front, it has six airbags and ISOFIX for child safety. The list of other safety features includes a Hill Hold Assist system, a rear parking camera and a few more.
