Honda Mobilio MPV unveiled in Indian Auto Expo
Japanese auto giant Honda Motors today unveiled its highly awaited MPV Mobilio in Indian Auto Expo. Prior to this company had unveiled the same MPV in Indonesia Motor Show held in Jakarta during 2013. According to company sources the new MPV has been especially developed for Asian countries and has been introduced to compete against Ertiga from Maruti Suzuki.
The new Mobilio has been unveiled in both petrol and diesel guise, the petrol variant is equipped with same 1.2 litre and 1.5 litre diesel engine as adorned in Honda Amaze sedan. The MPV is coated with five speed manual transmission system and is expected to be equipped with automatic transmission system in coming future. It is speculated that Mobilio will be an aspiring illustration of performance and fuel efficiency.
Mobilio is designed completely of Brio’s platform and in true sense carries all those features that are expected from any MPV. It would be interested to know that boot space is quite sufficient and much more than Ertiga from MSIL, which can be considered as plus point of Mobilio. It is expected to be launched in India by the mid of this year.
