Hyundai Aura Introduced With Starting Price Of Rs. 5.79 Lakh
Amid going cut-throat competition in the segment, Hyundai India has launched its highly awaited compact sedan Aura in the Indian car market with the starting price of Rs. 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Developed on the Grand i10 Nios platform the Aura also embellishes the series of 14 new features that are introduced in any of the vehicles in the segment, along with this it is the first vehicle in the segment that is equipped with BS-VI compliant diesel engine. It is introduced in five trims namely E, S, SX, SX(+) and SX(O).
Speaking about the engine options, as referred earlier it is offered in both petrol and diesel variant with two engine options in the petrol variant and one engine in the diesel variant. All these engines are BS-VI compliant. To begin with, the 1.2-liter MPI Kappa petrol engine generates the power of 82 bhp and the torque of 114Nm and mated with a five-speed manual gear transmission system followed by an option of Smart Auto AMT transmission system. The other engine option in the petrol variant consists of a 1.0 liter turbocharged GDI engine that is capable of boosting the power of 100 bhp and the torque of 172Nm. The transmission duties in this engine option are performed by a five-speed manual gear transmission system. The diesel variant is empowered with a 1.2-liter ECOTORQ engine that boosts the power of 74 bhp and torque of 190Nm. The transmission duties in trim are also performed by a five-speed manual and Smart Auto AMT transmission system.
Moving towards the features introduced in Aura, it is equipped with projector headlamps followed by dual boomerang DRLs on the front fascia, followed by 15-inches diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear portion adorns, Z-shaped LED tail-lamp. Well, the major attraction of Hyundai Aura includes the integration of 14 features introduced for the first time in any of the vehicles. The list of these features includes Driver rearview monitor, Wireless charger, iBlue audio remote smartphone app, Eco-coating, Arkamys 4 different modes sound, and USB charger. Along with this, it is also equipped with a 20.25 cm touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear power outlet, AC vents, 13.46 cm digital multi-information display and few more.
