Hyundai Elite i20 Crossover: Launch tentatively scheduled for March 9, 2015
It is rumored that wait for the launch of Hyundai Elite i20 Crossover is soon going to over as according to reports Korean car maker Hyundai has hinted that it will launch the crossover in Indian car market on March 9, 2015. The launch of Elite i20 Crossover came into the limelight immediately after the successful launch of Elite i20 hatchback in Indian car market, and since then car enthusiasts are keenly waiting for its launch. The Crossover also got highlighted due to its spied images published on various auto portals while it was undergoing test drives.
As the Crossover has been developed on the same platform as used in Elite i20 Crossover it is speculated to be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises which would be embellished with 1.2 litre petrol engine and 1.4 litre CRDi diesel engine. It is speculated to be offered with price tag starting from Rs. 8 lakh onwards. Talking about the common features carried from Elite i20 hatchback some of which are plastic cladding, size body cladding, roof railing, new projector headlamp with LED Daytime running lights, new alloy wheels followed by some new features inside the cabin. After launch the crossover would compete against Fiat Avventura, Volkswagen Polo Cross and Toyota Etios Cross.
