Hyundai Initiates Bookings Of Alcazar, With Turbo Petrol Engine
The Korean car maker Hyundai is all set to launch the 2023 Alcazar SUV soon in the Indian car market. According to reports, the 2023 Alcazar will receive a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine along with the existing two engine options. . Recently the company initiated the bookings of this variant @ down payment of Rs 25,000. It is believed to be launched with a price tag close to Rs 18 lakh and will go against the likes of Kia Carens available with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine.
The upcoming new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine is RDE compliant. The transmission duties will include options of a six-speed manual gear transmission system and a seven-speed DCT transmission system. This engine will generate a power of 160 PS and a torque of 253 Nm. The variant with manual gear transmission will deliver an average of 17.5 kmpl whereas the DCT variant will deliver an average of 18 kmpl.

In its new edition, Hyundai Alcazar receives minor cosmetic updates like a new front grille followed by the logo of Alcazar studded on it. Speaking about the list of features the facelift Alcazar gets Idle Stop and Go buttons, and side airbag and a curtain airbag. It is reported to get six airbags as a standard feature in all trims. Other features will include a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a digital driver display and a few more.
