Hyundai Kona 2023 Is Bolder And Comes With 4 Engine Options
The Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor has revealed the generation next Kona electric SUV in a new avatar for the international market. The 2023 Kona gets both cosmetic and mechanical updates. This time it is not only bolder and bigger than its first generation but also gets ICE (internal combustion engine). In short, the design of 2023 is developed after keeping the demands of future drivers in concern.

To begin with engine options. This time the Kona 2023 will not only be available in an electric version but also with a hybrid electric, internal combustion engine, and a sporty N line option. The N-line version will receive a different rear spoiler, aggressive bumpers on both front and rear portions, silver side skirt, dual rear exhaust, black roof, black mirrors and a few more. The internal combustion engine and hybrid electric versions will receive black-coloured plastic bumpers and wheel arches.
Moving towards the dimensions, the next generation of Hyundai Kona has a 4,355 mm length and is 150mm longer than its first generation. The width and the wheelbase have also been increased to 25mm and 60 mm respectively. It looks completely different from its outgoing version. On the exterior front, it receives a stretched-out single LED DRL on the front fascia. It also receives the Pixelated Seamless Horizon Lamp outsourced from the company’s Seven concept. This concept offers a pixel-light signature in the centre of the light bar. It also gets bolder wheel arches housing 19-inch alloy wheels with black-coloured mouldings.
Inside the cabin, the company has worked on the principle of ‘maximised living space for customers’. Keeping this in concern, the carmaker has removed many functionalities. The dashboard now receives a dual 12.3-inches touchscreen infotainment screen. The gear selector has shifted behind the steering wheel from the centre. As for now, the company has revealed only these details, the other details are expected to be disclosed in the coming months.
