Hyundai Styx (QXI): Curtain To Raise On April 17, 2019
Finally, Hyundai Motors India Limited the Indian alliance of Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has confirmed the date of revealing its upcoming compact SUV Styx codenamed QXI in the Indian car market on April 17, 2019. Developed on the Carlino concept that was showcased back in the Indian Auto Expo 2016 is believed to be launched sometime during the month of May and go against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and others in the segment.

Under the hood, the Styx is reported to be offered with three engine options of 1.4 litre diesel and 1.4 litre petrol engine, and 1.0 litre three cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The transmission duties in 1.4 litre engine options would be performed by six-speed manual transmission system, whereas seven-speed dual clutch transmission system will perform the transmission duty in 1.3 litre petrol engine.
As far as integration of the features are concerned nothing has been so far revealed by the company, but still it is believed that Styx will carry the same exterior features that are introduced in the new design philosophy used by the Korean car maker for developing its new fleet of vehicles. On the basis of this concept, we can speculate the exterior of Styx aka QXI to be embellished with LED DRLs, instead of the regular headlamp unit, large chrome garnished grille with Hyundai cascading trapezoidal design. Inside the cabin, it will be offered with a floating touchscreen infotainment system, that supports connectivity to Android Auto and Apple Car Play, other features will include leather upholstery, automatic headlamps, steering mounted audio controls, and many more.
Talking about the safety features it will be equipped with dual airbags, ABS+EBD, reverse parking sensor, high-speed warning system, ISOFIX, driver and passenger seat belt warning, child seat mounts as standard features across all the trims. Apart from this, the top end variants are believed to be offered with additional features like six airbags, hill-start and hill descent control, and ESP.
