Hyundai to bring special editions of Xcent and Grand i10
To commemorate successful existence of operations for decades in Indian car market Korean car maker Hyundai Motors is going to bring special editions of its hatchback and compact sedan namely Grand i10 and Xcent in Indian car market. The special editions are reported to be launched in the months of April and May respectively. Announcing the launch of special editions of these two vehicles, Mr. Y.K. Koo, Managing Director, HMIL, said "2016 is important for us. To celebrate 20 years of our success, we will introduce a special edition of Xcent this April at a competitive price for Indian customers. In May, we will roll out a special edition of i10, with new features and styling”.

According to reports the special editions of both the vehicles will continue with same existing engine configurations of 1.2 litre Kappa VTVT petrol and 1.1 litre CRDe diesel engine in both Hyundai Grand i10 and Hyundai Xcent both the engines will be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system. The petrol variant will also be offered with automatic transmission system.

Talking about the features that will be embellished in Special Editions it is reported that both the vehicles will undergo contemporary cosmetic updates and limited to integration of new accessories and features which help in enhancing the sportier look of both Grand i10 and Xcent. It is speculated that following the tradition of Hyundai the Special Editions will bestow features like special floor mats, parcel tray, seat covers, sport pedals, and door sil plates.
