Hyundai To Commence Bookings Of Santro (AH2) From October 10, 2018
Slated for launch on October 23, 2018, Hyundai Santro hatchback codenamed as AH2 is one of the highly awaited launches during this year. According to authentic sources, the hatchback will be unveiled on October 9, 2018, when its official name be revealed, it is also reported that the Korean carmaker will commence the bookings of the same from next day i.e., October 10, 2018 and will continue till October 22, 2018. The AH2 is considered as Hyundai’s “work in advance” as the hatchback will be upgraded to meet the road safety standards determined by the government for newly launched vehicles.
Under the hood, AH2 will be empowered with 1.1 litre, four cylinder engine and is believed to be offered with an option of AMT gearbox along with manual gear transmission system. Inside the cabin, it will be customized with touchscreen infotainment system followed by upgraded seats and other features, including latest safety features, like dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors as standard features.
It is believed that after launch in the Indian car market, the car maker will replace the Eon hatchback from its portfolio. Once launched in the Indian car market it will compete against Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Renaul Kwid 1.0 and Tata Tiago.
