Hyundai Upgrades Xcent, Elite i20, And Grand i10 With EBD Feature
Hyundai Motor India Limited has finally upgraded the Grand i10, Xcent and Elite i20 with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution feature to enhance the list of safety features offered in these products. Till now only the specific variants of these car models were offered with anti braking system (ABS) system as the safety feature and lacked the presence of EBD, but now the Korean car maker has finally now finally integrated EBD also in these car models as the standard feature.

At present ABS and EBD feature is offered only in the Sportz and Asta trim of Grand i10, whereas the same feature is offered in the SX and SX (O) trims of compact sedan Xcent. Similarly both these safety features are offered as standard feature in all the trims of Elite i20 hatchback. The ABS and EBD are offered as the standard safety feature in all the higher trims of portfolio offered by the Korean car maker. It is believed that the integration of EBD in these cars will definitely help in increasing their sales. It would be interested to know that even the EON hatchback, the entry level car by the Korean car maker is also equipped with both these safety features. Integration of EBD distributes the brake force individually on each wheel depending upon the speed, road condition and also the weight of the car.
At present after country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the Korean car maker is recognized for offering the cars that are equipped with latest safety features. According to the reports revealed by the company it will introduce dual-pedal technology in its overall portfolio by 2020 to offer comfortable driving experience to the buyers.
