India Bound Crossover Honda HR-V Caught Under Testing
According to recent reports spies have caught the HR-V crossover from Japanese car maker Honda Motors being tested recently on the Malaysian roads. The crossover is expected to make its debut in Indian car market sometimes during 2019 and is part of Japanese car maker’s strategy of launching six new vehicles in India during the next three years. After launch the crossover will compete against Hyundai Creta and Renault Capture.

Going through the success enjoyed by RV series of vehicles launched by the Japanese car maker in the Indian car market it is believed that the launch of HR-V in India will further strengthen the roots of car maker. The prototype of the crossover spotted by the spies was completely covered from the rear and front fascia giving an indication that it is advanced version the crossover which is being already on sale in the global market. Apart from front and rear portion other portion of the vehicle were un-camouflaged and carried the same looks as offered in the existing version of the HR-V. It is believed that in India the company might also offer the hybrid version of the crossover as it has offered in existing version of Accord.
It would be interested to know that it is almost after four years of its debut in Tokyo Motor Show 2013, that Honda has regarded the launch of HR-V suitable for India, as earlier going through the price concern the Japanese car maker did not found any potential in the Indian car market. But now going through the change in the buying preference of the Indian car buyers the crossover is getting ready for its debut.
