India bound facelift Hyundai Verna launched in Russia
After successful launch of Xcent compact sedan couple of months back in Indian car market and generation next Santa Fe SUV during India Auto Expo 2014, Korean car maker has an array of more products including facelifts and new vehicles to be offered in Indian car market. The upcoming vehicle to be launched in this series is facelift version of its highly appreciated sedan Verna which is expected to touch the Indian roads during the forthcoming festive season. But before launching the facelift Verna in Indian car market Korean car maker has launched the sedan in Russian car market where it is sold as Hyundai Solaris. The facelift Verna Aka Solaris has undergone various remarkable cosmetic changes at both exteriors and interiors front.
The facelift Hyundai Solaris in Russian car market has been launched in petrol variant with two engine options. The first is 1.4 litre petrol engine churning the power of 107 hp whereas the second one is 1.6 litre petrol engine producing the power of 123 hp. Both the engines are coated with five speed manual transmission system also offered with six speed automatic transmission system.
The cosmetic changes which the India bound facelift version of Hyundai Verna will include newly developed front grille with two new bars garnished with chrome making the sedan more aggressive and dynamic. The new headlights along with new fog lamps would be furnished with LED Daytime Running Lights. Moving towards the rear portion it will receive new tail light reflectors along with new aerodynamic bootlid opener. As far as price of new Verna are concerned nothing has been so far revealed by the car maker but it is speculated to priced little bit higher than the existing version of Hyundai Verna.
