India Bound Kia SP2i To Be Named As Seltos
Finally Kia Motors the alliance of the Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has revealed the name of its upcoming compact SUV codenamed as SP2i. According to the sources of the company, slated for launch on June 20, 2019 the Kia SP2i will be named as Kia Seltos and will step in the Indian car market sometime during the festive season. Recently the compact SUV was captured completely undisguised, which is believed to be a shooting campaign for the commercial.
It would not be wrong to say that Seltos has everything that will compel you to turn your head towards fascinating dual tone color of white and glossy black combination. The front fascia of the compact SUV carries the black colored grille with silver coating followed by the headlights. The set of silver and black wheels with red wheel caps play an important role in giving the side profile of the compact SUV an aggressive look.
Under the hood Seltos will be introduced in both BS VI compliant petrol and diesel variants. Both the engines will be 1.5 litre engines and offered with an option of manual and automatic gear transmission system. It is reported that company might also offer the sport variant empowered with 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine boosting the power of 140 bhp and mated with seven speed dual clutch transmission system with paddle shifters.
Talking about the features offered inside the cabin it will be equipped with 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The other interior features include hill descent, driving modes with automatic transmission system, wireless charging, WiFi, ambient lighting, head-up display, 360 degree camera and many more.
On the exterior front alike the front fascia the rear fascia also adorns sharp taillights with silver garnish, silver garnished rear diffuser and a set of faux tailpipes on the rear bumper.
