Japanese car maker Suzuki has showcased its highly awaited hatchback Baleno aka YRA hatchback during the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. The India bound version of hatchback will soon make its debut in India car market on October 26, 2015. The car maker has not revealed any specific features during its showcase and is expected to disclose everything about it during its launch. However industry mavens feel that it would carry same engine configuration as offered in Swift hatchback with possibility of introducing DDiS320 in diesel trim. As far as price is concerned it is speculated to be priced in range of Rs. 6.5 lakh to Rs. 9.00 lakh and will compete against Hyundai Elite i20 and Polo from Volkswagen.

 

 

Talking about the features that would be adhered in new Baleno hatchback it was witnessed in the trim showcased during the show that it carries most of its looks from Swift hatchback. Inside the cabin you will find leather steering wheel along with backlit dials giving the interiors an eye catching view. Apart from this you will also find huge silver garnish work on centre console making it look more impressive, although unusual. The knob determined for controlling climate is little bit larger than the normal knob, whereas the touchscreen infotainment which is similar to Ciaz and S-Cross.

 

 

The exteriors would be embellished with daytime running lamp with headlamps mounted on it followed by V-shaped grille. On the rear portion it receives small LED tail lamps whereas boot opener picture reveals the shape of erstwhile version of Baleno sedan.
